To ensure the best possible experience and the safety of every client at GAON, please review the following guidelines before booking. If you have any questions, please contact us directly.

Hair & Scalp Status
  • Recent Colour / Highlights — Please wait at least 3–7 days after a colour service. Our deep cleansing process may cause fresh colour to fade prematurely.
  • Hair Extensions — We cannot perform the service on clients with tape-in, sew-in, or micro-bead extensions, as scalp massage and water therapy may damage or loosen them.
  • Recent Chemical Treatments — Please wait 14 days after a Keratin treatment or Perm before visiting.
  • Infectious Conditions — For the safety of all clients and staff, we cannot provide service to those with active head lice or fungal infections such as ringworm.

General Health & Safety
  • Age Policy — Clients under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Pregnancy — If you are in your first trimester, please consult your doctor before booking. Lying flat for extended periods may not be suitable for everyone.
  • Scalp Health — We cannot perform the service where there are open wounds, weeping sores, or severely inflamed or bleeding psoriasis on the scalp.
  • Recent Cosmetic Procedures — Please wait at least 2 weeks after Botox or dermal fillers in the forehead or scalp area.
  • General Wellness — If you have a fever, cold, or flu symptoms, please reschedule your appointment.

Medical Contraindications GP Letter Required

If you have any of the following conditions, we require a written confirmation from your GP before proceeding with a treatment.

Circulatory
History of blood clots (Thrombosis), Stroke, or Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure
Neurological
Epilepsy or Chronic Severe Migraines
Recent Surgery
Head, Neck, or Back surgery within the last 6 months, including Hair Transplants
Chronic Illness
Current Cancer treatment or Radiation therapy

General Info

Absolutely not. Both men and women are welcome. Scalp health is important for everyone, and our treatments are designed to benefit all individuals.

Age Policy

Children under 18 are welcome to receive services, provided they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the duration of the visit.

Booking

We operate on an appointment-only basis to ensure each client receives a dedicated and tranquil experience. Please book your session in advance via our website.

A deposit of £25 is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This will be applied to the total cost of your treatment on the day.

Parking

You may park directly on our driveway. If the driveway is full, free street parking is available on Bradbourne Park Road for up to two hours.

Preparation

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing. For some treatments, we may provide a robe to protect your clothes from water and products.

Post-Treatment

Following your treatment, we provide a dedicated self-dry station for your comfort. Please note that we do not offer a professional blowout service.

Cancellations

We kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice for all cancellations and rebooking requests. As each appointment is reserved exclusively for you, cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the £25 deposit being retained. We appreciate your understanding, as this allows us to offer the time to other clients.
