GAON was founded by Jin Jung — a Korean therapist, meditation practitioner, and scalp health specialist based in Sevenoaks, Kent.

Jin brings together a deep understanding of Korean beauty science, a personal meditation practice, and specialist training in AI-powered scalp analysis to offer something genuinely different — a treatment that is as precise as it is restorative.

Every treatment at GAON reflects Jin's conviction that true scalp health is not just cosmetic — it is the foundation of hair health, and a profound point of tension release for the whole body.

Growing up immersed in Korean beauty culture, Jin witnessed first-hand how the Korean approach to scalp care — methodical, layered, deeply intentional — produced results that Western treatments rarely matched.

After years of personal research, self-experimentation using microscopy imaging, and specialist training, Jin developed GAON's signature protocols: the Hydration Rescue Protocol for dry and sensitive scalps, and the Sebum Rebalancing Protocol for oily and sensitive scalps — both built on cosmetic chemistry principles and validated through practice.

Jin is also a certified Becon AI scalp analysis operator — bringing the same technology used by leading Korean head spas to Sevenoaks, and combining it with expert human interpretation that translates data into genuinely personalised care.
